Flea Markets

I love to go to flea markets. The Rose Bowl flea market, Long Beach flea market, Fairfax flea market, Santa Monica flea market, and not to mention Pasadena City College flea market. One thing I would like to do more often is frequent estate sales. I here people talk about amazing finds at reasonable prices that they have found at them.

My boyfriend and I both just got vintage schwinn stingrays. We love

them. We also have his and hers J.C. Higgins bikes which are amazing, but still need work. It is our new project and we are slowly restoring them together.

I make hand carved stencils, magnets, matchbooks, stenciled bags and clothing, pillows, and hand painted canvasses. I enjoy doing all of these and much more, which is why I am going to try and set up my own booth at the Fairfax Flea Market. I will also be taking personal requests for any of my products. In addition I can make personalized stencils by request as well. I would like to become apart of the website called ETSY. It is a fantastic website of all sorts that show other peoples crafts and creations for purchase.

Polaroid...No More?

I greatly enjoy using polaroid cameras. I have over eight that I have collected from vintage cameras to new cameras. It makes me so sad to know that polaroid no longer makes their film. It is such a great and popular format. It is easy to use and fun to have in social situations.

I am a big collector of Frank Kozik. I had been looking for the perfect way to display them, then I found these. These shelves I found at the Fairfax Flea Market. One of them is actually an old letter stamp drawer. I think they are perfect! For his Smorkin Labbits I organized them by color which is a nice visual effect.
